FOR SOUNDARTIST, COMPOSER AND PERFORMER Fabian Kalker WE have animated a moving high gloss 3D object which explores the concept of visual and audible sensuality. The object is designed using fractal geometry–known as nature’s way of defining complex three dimensional forms–which imbues the shape with a sense of immediate and relatable familiarity. 

The object, aptly named Lustobjekt, was created with the intention of fostering highly sexualised associations through the choice of color, surface sheen and pulsating movements. It draws the eyes of the viewer across it in slow motion, creating a feedback loop of exploration between an implied orifice and the voyeuristic gaze as a starting point.
